About Me
Hello! Thanks so much for checking out my library curriculum website. Here you'll learn a little bit more about me, and how I came to be a school librarian!

I was born in Salem, MA, and I grew up in a family of educators. My parents were both teachers - my mother went on to become assistant superintendent! - and my big sister is also a teacher. I went to Brown University, and thought maybe I'd work in publishing. Then, I went to London to get my first master's degree in art history from the Sotheby's Institute, where I thought maybe I'd work in an art gallery. I came home from London and got a job at the local public library, and I thought maybe I'd work in a public library. Once I met Mr. Ahearn (a teacher at North Andover High), I thought maybe I'd work in an elementary school library. It turns out, being a school librarian was the job for me all along!

In my spare time, I like to bake, play my ukulele, and cross-stitch.
