Ways to Collaborate with the Library!

I am available for in-class collaborations throughout the year. I would love to be able to co-teach lessons and units with teachers across all grade levels. Here's a list of ways you can incorporate library/research/technology into your curriculum!

Research Skills

While we'll be covering basic research skills in our library lessons, it is often helpful to have a lesson that is customized to a particular topic or unit. I can create pathfinders (useful links to online and print resources), guide students through the research process, and discuss up-to-date information sources.

Technology

As a former computer science teaching assistant, and current tech geek, I'm well-versed in a variety of technology tools that can enhance student learning and engagement. If you're looking to add a new dimension to a project through the Google suite, green screen videos or other kinds of digital media, I'd love to collaborate!

Assessments & Rubrics

Library media specialists spend a lot of time learning about creating effective assessments and rubrics for assignments. Additionally, the middle school often uses their wonderful library media specialists to help design projects and rubrics throughout the year. I can help create meaningful assessments and rubrics to give you robust data on your students.
